*This is my third and final post summarizing Convergence 2016*
My three-part blogging series has reached an end. I felt that each of these three blog posts really summed up my experience at my favorite con. Every time I attend Convergence, I always end up making a list of shows, board games, and fandoms to try. This post will be quick and short as I talk about fandoms that were really prominent at Convergence.
Steven’s Universe
I saw so many Steven’s Universe cosplays at Convergence. There was even a party room themed from this show. I have heard that this show features LGBTQIA+ characters. After I finish Young Justice and Orange is the New Black this is next on my list.
Hamilton
One of my con friends would randomly start rapping lyrics from this play. I’m the first to say I’m not a broadway/play person. I would go to plays when I was younger, but it’s not something I actively follow. There were multiple panels devoted to this play. I’m going to check and see if the play’s soundtrack is on Spotify and I might give it a listen.
Sailor Moon/Watch & Read More Manga & Anime
Finally, I really want to watch more anime. Sailor Moon is one fandom that I have started getting into, but I want to watch the anime. One of my good friends has recommended to me a couple of anime series that he thinks I would like. So hopefully I can get a jump start on that too.
Thank you so much for reading about all of my Convergence posts. I hope to get back into the swing of things and blog about gaming and/or books, but I just wanted to get my Convergence experience into words on this blog. I’m having a fantastic summer and I love that I have more time to blog here. Comment below if you have any anime recommendations because I’m very much a noob to this.

Bizarre Brunette 
Steven Universe is SO sweet, even if it’s super cheesy. I love how they are completely supportive of Steven, and any other characters. They RARELY tease him, and if they do, they are always repremanded. They never make comments on his weight or say things like, “you’re going to get fat if you eat any more”. It’s such a corny show, but it has a great message behind it.
If you watch the original Sailor Moon, just know that you don’t have to watch ALL the episodes. You can watch the first 3-5 and the last 3-5 of each season and you’ll be good. The original is PACKED with filler. XoX The new one is good though! It follows the manga closely.
Tokyo Mew Mew, Cardcaptor Sakura, and Ojamajo DoReMi are all great animes to watch if you like Sailor Moon!

Oh man, I’ve wanted a magical cat that talks to me my whole life thanks to Sabrina the Teenage Witch, haha! But Luna is my love, you should totally get into the show! It’s so good.

Sounds like a great con experience!! SOOOO many of my friends are obsessed with Hamilton (most of them guys too that are not into Broadway lol). I listened to it on Spotify and it is reallyyyy good but I just haven’t jumped on the obsession train (yet). As far as anime goes, Sailor Moon was my very first anime before I even knew what anime was (I first watched it over 20 years ago). In my college years I started watching more anime and now I absolutely love it. If you want recommendations, I can definitely help you out! It just depends on your taste because there’s so much anime out there! My favorite and a super popular one right now is Attack On Titan. I love Sci-Fi/Fantasy so Psycho Pass, Death Note, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, Trigun, and Cowboy Bebop are some of my faves.

Yeah I have heard a lot of those are really good. Cowboy Bebop I have heard amazing things about! I tried to find it in a manga but I don’t know if there is one?
